Szabolcs Nagy has been a trade policy diplomat since 2020 at the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU. His professional responsibilities currently include charing the meetings of Working Party on Trade Questions (WPTQ) and European Free Trade Associations (EFTA) and dealing with inbound and outbound investment screening. After graduated from University of Szeged he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2018 where he negotiated bilateral investment protection agreements (BITs), participated at the meetings of services and investment formation (TPC-SI) of the Trade Policy Committee, represented Hungary in the reform processes of ICSID, in the UNCITRAL Working Group III and in the Modernization of the Energy Charter Treaty.
