The second training weekend of the Women Public Leadership Programme commenced on 6 November. The afternoon of the first day began with an informal conversion: the participants had the opportunity to ask questions from Balázs Orbán, Chairman of MCC’s Board of Trustees and before the dinner they attended a roundtable discussion involving Alexandra Szentkirályi, government spokesperson and Dóra Tomcsányi, fashion designer.
The second training day was focused on practice: students were afforded the opportunity to try themselves in interview situations with the help of Andrea Földi-Kovács, broadcaster, then in the afternoon they could follow a discussion between former The Telegraph war reporter Julius Strauss and Boris Kálnoky, head of MCC’S Media School about frontline war reporting. The last session of the day was a presentation by Dr. Orsolya Ferencz, Ministerial Commissioner for Space Research analysing the relationship between politics and space research.
On Sunday, the training weekend ended with a presentation by Zoltán Kovács, head of MCC’s Business Centre offering an insight into the depths of strategic planning and project management.
