Wael Taji Miller attended Trinity Hall college at Cambridge University, where he received First Class Honors studying cultural psychology and Oriental languages. He holds a Master’s degree in Behavioral Economics from Peking University in China, which he attended as a Yenching Scholar while minoring in Fundamental Neuroscience. He is currently completing his doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience at the medical faculty of Semmelweis University in Hungary, with his dissertation examining the links between psychological traits, sleep EEG patterns, and human behavior.
As a Visiting Fellow at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium’s School of Psychology, Taji’s research focuses on the intersection of innovation, our evolved psychology, and contemporary societal challenges, particularly in the domains of moral education, technological harms, and psychoactive substance abuse. Taji’s works have been published in Q1 peer-reviewed journals such as Human Brain Mapping and Intelligence, and his research and social commentary has appeared in Quillette, the Hungarian Conservative, and Palladium Magazine, among others.
