Zsuzsanna Éva Monori (dr. LL.M.) is a media law specialist and criminal lawyer. After graduating from the University of Szeged, she attended a PhD course at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences , where she researched the practice and regulation of harassment at the Institute of Criminal Sciences. Her dissertation research focuses on harassment as a criminal offence and the system of criminal law protection of the right to privacy. Other areas of research include the criminal law practice of defamation and slander, the constitutionality of criminal law action against fake news, and media law issues of influencer marketing. She has been a lecturer at the Károli Gáspár University and Milton Friedman University, and an invited lecturer at the Károli Interdisciplinary Academy and Ludovika Collegium. She has been a research lecturer at the Public Law Centre since 2022 and is also a part-time member of staff at the Media Council's Institute for Media Studies. Her main area of interest is the fundamental links between media and criminal law.
