Norbert Köbli, born 1977, is a Béla Balázs Award-winning screenwriter and a distinguished artist and the Head of MCC Story Lab. He has written contemporary classics such as The Exam (A Vizsga) (2011), Half-World (a Félvilág) (2015), and Eternal Winter (Örök tél) (2018). He has twice been named Best Screenwriter in California and has won the Hungarian Film Award three times. Most recently, he was nominated for The Game (A játszma). His latest film, The Blockade (A Blokád) (2022), is Hungary's official nomination for the Oscars.
