Hans Lottenbach is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Kenyon College in Ohio, USA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Zurich and his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to Kenyon College he taught philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh, Princeton University, and the University of California at Los Angeles. His current research is in political philosophy and the history of political thought. A special focus is the political theory of German Idealism and its contemporary relevance.
