Attilla Bodor earned his Bachelor of Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in 2012, followed by a Licentiate in 2013, and a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in 2021. His academic career includes positions as a part-time lecturer at Babes-Bolyai University (2017-2024), a Humboldt postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Göttingen (2022-2023). His research focuses on the Pentateuch, with a particular emphasis on the Samaritan Pentateuch and ancient versions of the Hebrew Bible, especially the Peshitta.
